Bath Time

I have been putting Colin's first bath on the back burner now for days. I just didn't want to hear him cry and scream in the case he didn't like it. But unlike his sister dog (who is part cat) he seemed to enjoy it! He only cried at the very end when we toweled him off. Monster sat by the tub the entire time with a very sympathetic look on her face. :)

WTF is that?!?

Anyone recognize the object shown below? It's the only "not so pretty part" of my new baby boy. His umbilical cord finally fell off today! We were certain Monster had gotten a hold of it until we found it hidden at the bottom of a diaper. David thinks it looks like a petrified turd, and I think it more closely resembles a baby alligator. Your thoughts?

First Diapers

There's a first time for everything! Check out our first dirty-diaper-sausage-roll. I'd like to dedicate this picture to all our friends and family who couldn't wait to see David change poopy diapers. He's not fond of the process but he's pretty much reached "expert level" in a dirty duo situation.

We're Home!

After 5 nights and 6 days in the hospital we are finally home. I was so happy to see the sun again...freedom! It was such a strange feeling putting little Colin in the car and thinking we are totally responsible for him now - luckily he slept the whole way home. Most importantly, I could not wait to get home to see my sweet dog ball!!!
