Colin's first time on Lake Austin! He cried a little at first (mainly because we made him wear a life jacket), but once we got moving he never looked back.

Backyard Makeover Week 3

We have plants!!! I felt like it was Christmas morning as they started unloading the truck from the nursery. Planting makes such a BIG difference - everything should be complete by Friday. I can't wait!!!

Children's Table

Colin now sits at David's childhood table! When we were in Houston last week, Tish pulled it down from the attic and showed it to Colin. He smiled (knowing it was intended for him) and sat down like he had owned it for years. It's so cute how children love things "kid size." Living in an adult-size world can be tough when you're only 3 feet tall.

Cars 2 The Movie

Our first theater experience with an almost 2-year-old went incredibly well. We went to Gold Class Cinema - AMAZING - we ordered dinner and drinks throughout the movie. Colin loved it. He was so enthused about the movie that he would scream "cars" after every preview. I don't think Colin would sit through just any movie but this one was right up his alley (and mine)!!!
