Summer Vacation

We were invited to take a mini vacation with our friends, Rebecca and Chris. We stayed at their condo at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch in San Antonio. It was super fun and the kids had a ball. The property has huge pool complete with a sprinkler park, water slides, and a lazy river - ideal for families with kids. Colin played in the sand for the first time and had a blast in the sprinklers. It was so hot that we literally swam two times a day. What a great vacation - and the best part was that we were home after an hour drive.

Daddy is Back

David is finally back from Italy!!! When he leaves for a full week, I call for back up. I can hold down the fort for a few days but being a single parent can be difficult. Thankfully Colin, Monster and I had great company - Amy stayed with us the first part of the week, then Grandma, and then Letty. It was so nice to have 3 visitors and Colin loved all the extra attention. We even had Sunday "fun day" at Uncle Trey and Tracy's house. He loved swimming with his uncles!
